Iron Celt 2025
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the “Železný Kelt” orienteering (non-)race through the Iron Mountains will take place.

The oppidum is under siege!
The cultists have been scattered. Those who weren’t killed have fled into the surrounding area and are gradually being rounded up. But the threat doesn’t end there. The cultists who destroyed the deities two years ago were hired by none other than Rome itself. You haven’t even had time to recover from your battles with them, and already an entire Roman siege camp has set up nearby.
It’s time to regain the favor of the gods, restore the cultists’ slain god, and set out to battle the Romans!

The race is intended primarily for adults. Participants aged 15 and older may compete in pairs accompanied by an adult.
You
can race as an individual or form racing pairs (teams) with the following compositions:
woman+woman
, woman+man
, or two men only if one is between the ages of 15 and 17 (e.g., a minor son with his father, etc.).

Once again, two routes await you: a short one (25 km) and a long one (35 km).
The route is not disclosed to competitors in advance; sections of the route are revealed gradually during the race.
Along the route, you’ll find challenges related to survival in nature and history.
Points are awarded for the time it takes competitors to complete the course, for successfully completing the challenges, and, if applicable, for their costumes.

You can compete in regular modern hiking attire or in a historical costume: Prehistory, Antiquity, or the Early Middle Ages (but no fantasy costumes such as elves, orcs, etc.!)
