Exhibition
Exhibition "In the Footsteps of the Celts" presents the culture of the Late Iron Age in Bohemia and the Chrudim region, focusing on life in the oppidum that stood on a promontory above the Chrudimka River, about 2 km from Nasavrky, during the 2nd and 1st centuries BCE. We first opened the “In the Footsteps of the Celts” exhibition to visitors on the first floor of Nasavrky Castle in 2004. Since then, we have expanded and supplemented it several times.
The creation of the “In the Footsteps of the Celts” exhibition was supported by the European Union as part of the Culture 2000 project, the Pardubice Region, the town of Nasavrky, and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. Thank you.
The exhibition is located on the first floor of Nasavrky Castle. Tours are guided and conducted in Czech. The tour lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.
